Built and used daily by IdeasWood — planning wooden-house shipments on flatbeds and containers across the EU.

Plan loads in minutes — not spreadsheets — and ship fuller, safer trucks.
Maximise loading metres and fill every truck. Fewer half-empty trips means lower freight cost per unit.
Import a spec sheet and auto-arrange — a clear, to-scale plan in minutes instead of guesswork on paper.
Built-in safety rules: fragile items (windows & doors) are never crushed under heavy packets.
Know exactly how many units fit per truck before you promise a delivery date or price.
Hand the driver a clear A4 PDF loading plan and an Excel specification — no confusion at the dock.
EU trailers, mega trailers, rigid trucks and 20/40 ft containers — all to scale on a 10 cm grid.
Both side elevations, top view and 3D — on a 10 cm grid with centimetre rulers.
Auto-arrange puts heavy on the bottom, fragile on top, to use the least length.
Live loading metres, deck length, payload and axle balance as you load.

A loading planner is software that lets logistics and sales teams plan how cargo fits onto a truck or container before loading. It shows exactly how many items fit, calculates loading metres (LDM), and prevents costly damage from unsafe stacking.
A loading metre (LDM) is a unit measuring the floor area used on a trailer. One loading metre equals 1 metre of trailer length × 2.4 m width. A full EU trailer is 13.6 LDM. Carriers price loads by LDM — filling every metre reduces your freight cost per unit.
Loading Planner supports EU trailers (13.6 m), mega trailers, rigid trucks, 20 ft containers and 40 ft containers — all rendered to scale on a 10 cm grid.
Yes. You can import an Excel or PDF specification sheet and the packets are added to your plan automatically. You can also add items by hand.
Loading Planner costs €79/month billed monthly or €69/month billed annually (€828/year). Prices exclude VAT and a VAT invoice is issued with every plan. There are no setup fees and you can cancel anytime.
Sign in with your Google account and you get full access for 3 days — no credit card required. When the trial ends, pick a plan to continue; your saved plans are kept.
No. Loading Planner runs entirely in your browser — nothing to install, no IT approval needed. It works on any modern computer.
Yes. Your plans are stored securely in Google Firebase (EU-focused infrastructure), we are GDPR-compliant, and we never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Excel doesn't catch an overloaded axle or an LDM overrun before the truck leaves. A to-scale plan with live weight and axle-balance checks does — one avoided mis-loaded truck pays for a year of Loading Planner.
